My GitHub activity in the week of 2025-03-28

Highlights from this week

Here’s a selection of things I worked on or reviewed that stood out.

I made a PR to improve MDN IndexedDB examples, mostly about styling, but also including JavaScript modernization. These are important for making sure examples use modern language features and APIs, and that we keep standards up across all code and demos when we improve accessibility guidelines and writing policies.

I also got rid of some older playable editors that don’t fit in with our current “playground” architecture. These appear to be written for a previous site theme, so moving these to interactive editors is a much more coherent experience for readers, and helps improve the overall uniformity of the site look and feel.

A recurring theme is Lefthook and automation scripts. Mostly refactoring Lefthook post-merge steps, some config changes and dependency updates, small PRs to update auto-merge workflows for dependabot PRs.
